rosie tonkin is an art director and multi-disciplinary artist based in london.

Her work spans across Art Direction, painting & model making, ranging in scale from intricate miniatures to lifelike animal sculptures.

After graduating Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University, Rosie spent 12 years in art fabrication & prop making, creating work for artists, luxury fashion houses, museums and theatre. 

In 2017, Rosie moved into animation, working on the advert for The Great British Bake Off with Mikey Please & Dan Ojari. Since then, she has collaborated on international campaigns with directors including Johnny Kelly, Sam Gainsborough & Joseph Mann. Credits include Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, BAFTA winning BBC Women’s Euros 2025, Gorillaz and the BBC 2026 FIFA World Cup trailer. 

In 2022 she Art Directed BAFTA winning, Oscar-nominated short film Wander to Wonder, directed by Nina Gantz, and was Ffern resident artist in 2025.
